The purpose of the study is to map out a network of players involved within the Ontario technology innovation ecosystem. Each of the participants will be asked to complete a short survey and a short interview will be conducted with a selection of the most influential members, determined by their structural position within the entire network.
The goal is to use this data along with any publicly available data to analyze how resources and information flow throughout the entire network based on the structure of the whole network and the types and strengths of the relationships. The analysis of this data will be produced via a report to be published with the financial support of the community and distributed to all participating members of the study. This information can then be used by each individual participant to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of their network.
Any individual or organization that is currently involved or plans to be involved with Ontario’s innovation ecosystem would benefit from participating in this study. Participating stakeholder organisations can sign up by sending an email to octiestudy at gmail dot com. Participation is free and requires the distribution of the snowball survey. A blog post on the organisation and their logo will be published and included in the final report.
